A great theme park vacation awaits you at Universal Orlando or Universal Studios Hollywood but make sure you know which park holds the most interest for your family. Universal Studios Hollywood is built within a real working movie studio. The park is smaller than Florida and has some distinct differences. US Hollywood can be done in a day because it is geographically smaller than Florida but you have the opportunity to possibly see some of your favorite movies and television shows being made on the back lot. This park does contain 2 Harry Potter rides, however if you want to visit Diagon Alley, you’ll have to go to Florida.
In contrast, Universal Orlando is actually 3 parks including Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and Volcano Bay, their water park. If you want to ride the Hogwart’s Express, make sure you get Park to Park
tickets as it is a transition ride connecting Hogsmede to Diagon Alley. And we highly recommend staying on property to take advantage of the Unlimited Express Pass and early entry hour on participating days. Most of Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios could be done in 2 days, but if you’re wanting to enjoy Volcano Bay, best to make it at least a 3 day park ticket.
Give us a call and we’ll help you navigate the options of Universal Studios. It’s a great theme park vacation and can be enjoyed by every family member.
